Fullerton and Santa Ana Armory Homeless Shelters get help from SVOSH @ SCCO!

SVOSH @ SCCO members did a great job helping The Illumination Foundation and Cal-VOSH during two vision screenings at the Fullerton Armory Homeless Shelter on January 29th, and the Santa Ana Armory Homeless Shelter on Saturday Februrary 26th. The Janurary event helped as many as 50 patients in 3 short hours. Our SVOSH members had 2 of the 6 total refracting lanes at the event. Awesome!

SVOSH @ SCCO's World Sight Day Challenge made the news!

October 14th was SVOSH @ SCCO's fundraiser for Optometry Giving Sight's World Sight Day Challenge on campus. SVOSH @ SCCO successfully held a field-day lunch time fundraiser. Read all about it on Vision Monday. They profile three optometry schools and SCCO is one of them. See if you can spot your classmates in the article!

SVOSH @ SCCO's 2010 trip to El Salvador with FUDEM was a success!

November 20-27, This year, seven SVOSH @ SCCO members joined Dr. Greg Pearl and the non-profit group FUDEM on their vision services mission to El Salvador. These first and second year students worked together to help provide over 1,000 eye exams in 5 days! See our Photos page for more details.
